Hi Dorlene, do you have a tab open in your Firefox for Android with your email site? You may be able to adjust the site permissions using this method:

In the address bar, tap the lock icon. Firefox for Android should drop down a panel showing site information and any custom permissions you granted to the page.

If the panel lists Notifications Allowed, you can tap Allowed to switch the setting to Blocked.

If the panel does not list Notifications Allowed, then the alert may be coming from a different tab or an add-on (if you installed any add-ons in your Firefox for Android), or from a completely different app.
