this is unacceptable browser programming that Mozilla should have FIXED a VERY LONG time ago.

Hi

To change the name of a file that you wish to download without it being downloaded would mean changing the original file name where the file is hosted.

This is well beyond the remit of Firefox to do and would need the permission of the administrator of that website.
