I am trying to upgrade firefox to the latest version on my intel imac. The os is Sonoma 14.5 I download the .dmg file and when I try to mount the diskimage it gives me this error "Operation Not Permitted" I tried to verify the .dmg file using the mac disk utility program. It won't do it. It just gives me the same "Operation not Permitted" error. I tried verifying another .dmg file in the same directory (downloads) Disk Utilities performs the operation just fine on that .dmg . ????? I'd appreciate any help. Thanks.
