Hi, I seem to be having trouble syncing. I have an account which has 25 years' worth of emails on it, organised into folders. I reorganised the folders, and now on thunderbird they appear empty even though webmail shows them to contain emails.

I have tried going offline and downloading messages, changing my password, restarting, and clearing the startup cache.

How do I fix this, please?

It may help to know what you mean by 'reorganized.' Also, is this an IMAP account?

Reorganised, as in move folders around, move emails between folders.

and what does it show if you log into the imap server using webmail as everything must be syncronised with the server and that is a slow process and prone to errors and dropped connections with missing mail when you make wholesale changes of thousands of emails.

I think something I did worked because now when I click on a folder it syncs. I'll just click on all my folders in thunderbird.
