Thunderbird deletes messages not selected.

Sometimes, while deleting highlighted messages, Thunderbird will also delete a message next to the selected one, which I didn't want to delete, so have to "undo" to recover. This just started after the last update I think.

What version are you using now, as of April 8 when you posted?

Hi, Wayne. Just to jump in here, this routinely happens to me as well, usually at least daily.
