I am locking this redundant topic and will move the one that is apparently misreported as a Firefox one to the Thunderbird list. You are not going to get an answer to your email questions from folks that only know browsers. Of that I am fairly sure. They try but a rarely really all that helpful because they just don't know about Email and it's protocols.
