As I understand it, this is something that may be included in a future update to Firefox for Android.

Ahh, so it was more of a beta feature. I had it on my Firefox Nightly for Android for a while. I also noticed that Secure DNS was a feature on the desktop client. I wonder if you will be implementing the feature in Android Firefox Nightly soon.
