Sending of the message failed: connecting to Outgoing server (SMTP) failed
Hi,
Today I'm having a problem with two of the four Outgoing servers I use. In both cases, I get the following Error Message:
Sending of the message failed. The message could not be sent because connecting to Outgoing server (SMTP) <name.of.the.server> failed. The server may be unavailable or is refusing SMTP connections. Please verify that your Outgoing server (SMTP) settings are correct and try again.
I know that both servers are working because 1) I am the only one using them with this problem, 2) if I use the webmail application of both servers, I do not have the problem.
I tried the Safe Mode, but the problem persists.
I check the passwords and the Outgoing servers settings and they are all OK.
I restarted the computer (MacBook Air Retina, 13-inch, 2019).
What shall I do to fix the problem?

Hi,
Today I'm having a problem with two of the four Outgoing servers I use. In both cases, I get the following Error Message:
Sending of the message failed.
The message could not be sent because connecting to Outgoing server (SMTP) <name.of.the.server> failed. The server may be unavailable or is refusing SMTP connections. Please verify that your Outgoing server (SMTP) settings are correct and try again.
I know that both servers are working because 1) I am the only one using them with this problem, 2) if I use the webmail application of both servers, I do not have the problem.
I tried the Safe Mode, but the problem persists.
I check the passwords and the Outgoing servers settings and they are all OK.
I restarted the computer (MacBook Air Retina, 13-inch, 2019).
What shall I do to fix the problem?
