Hi everybody, I am trying to delete an account of mine that I don't use. After I check all the boxes and click "continue" it asks for the password again. I triple checked and it is correct, also because I copy paste it. But the website says "Incorrect password". I tried using a private window to no avail. It fills in automatically the password of another account of mine, which I then replace with the correct one. I did not try leaving there the password of the other account, because I don't want to risk deleting my "good" account. Thank you.

This is required to delete the firefox account. If you don't recall the password or password reset email is locked out there nothing more that can be done. It's considered a Lost account at this point.

Hi Dropa,

Thanks for replying. The password was correct but it was not accepted. Anyway, I just tried again before replying here and it deleted my account correctly. Then I logged out and tried to log back in and it did not recognize my credentials, as it should be.

PS: The solution was to wait a few hours and then try to delete the account again.
