You will not see the device you are currently on in Sync. You will see other devices and versions of Firefox. see screenshots Firefox Sync lets you synchronize bookmarks, add-ons, browsing history and other information across multiple devices. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-do-i-choose-what-information-sync-firefox

I would suggest you download Firefox and run it with your distro version. This setup will have your data in more than one place in case once of them goes BOOM!
