Firefox processes are not shutting down properly.
They show up under Processes on Task Manager in quantity and l have to close them manually which is a nuisance. How do l make them disappear when l close the window?
Please bear in mind that l am an untrained senior and need step by step instructions! Thank you for your help.

Try quitting using the menu command or the keyboard shortcut.
Are you closing Firefox or merely closing some tabs or some windows but keep Firefox running ?
You can check the about:memory and about:processes pages for info about all processes. See also the about:unloads page for info about the tabs.
