Prevent a Website to automatically change to the Main Page after opening a Link

more options

Hi,

is there a way to stop a website to automatically forcefully boot me to their main page after like 1sec?

In my case its this Link: https://multiversus.bugs.wbgames.com/bug/MVS-1-3162 It straight up throws me back to the original website after being able to see it for probably less than a second.

Thanks in advance!

Hmm, could this be a login problem?

Firefox recently rolled out "Total Cookie Protection" to more users. This limits how sites can use "third party" cookies, meaning cookies from different websites than the one you see in the address bar. If individual games are hosted on different servers (you see very different web addresses between the login server and the game server) then you might not get logged in on all of the related sites.

You can make exceptions to this feature when needed. More info in the following articles:

This doesn't seem to be the case, as viewing the page doesn't require to be logged in. Also the same behavior can be seen when I open the Link in Chrome for example. Tho I tried disabling it and it didn't seem to solve the issue.

Maybe the link changed and you need to navigate to that page from the home page again? I mean, there could be a lot of possibilities so I can only guess at this point...

The main problem here is that I can actually see the page briefly before it switches back to the home page. Therefore my question was also if there's an option to stop Firefox switching and simply staying at the page there, since the contents of the page are fully visible and viewable for a second.

Maybe you are seeing a page in Firefox's cache. You could try setting "Work Offline" (Alt+F to trigger the File menu, then Work Offline) and see whether you can view it from the cache that way.

Otherwise, I think this is the key information; it is a JSON response from a script in the page doing a bug lookup. Apologies for messiness. This is scheduled to expire tomorrow:
