Today my installed copy of TB 1.2.0.3 has started asking for authentication for gateway.icloud.com, but I have no iCloud or related connections or accounts setup in Thunderbrid, just my FastMail email and calenders, plus a GMail account.

I've looked through all my accounts settings to confirm that iCould is not used by any accounts I've setup in Thunderbird.

Can anyone offer a suggestion as to whay I'm getting that authentication dialog?

Okay, after some further digging of the Thunderbird settings (thanks to https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/config-editor), I've found a setting called dom.keyboardevent.keypress.hack.dispatch_non_printable_keys that refers to www.icloud.com, but what on earth does that setting refer to exactly?

I've removed that value from the setting and shutdown and restarted Thunderbird, but it made no difference - I'm still getting the authentication dialog.

The issue seems to have gone away, but whether that's due to an update to Thunderbird or an email causing the issue has since been deleted or whatever, I don't know what the root cause was.
