What functionality do you want to keep (tab bar and opening links from webpages or bookmarks) and what reasons do you have for hiding the location bar ?

I like everything about kiosk mode but being in full screen. I have a simple script that opens up firefox on a server and automatically goes to a certain website and I dont want people going anywhere else. By removing the location bar and tabs and everything I hope to stop all but the most savy people from leaving that webpage.

So really I want just want firefox to open a webpage and have nothing else displayed on the firefox screen.

I will move the thread to Firefox for Enterprise to see in Mike Kaply has some ideas for you.

You should still be able to use userChrome.css. Is it not being read at all? Or is it just not hiding the address bar?

Some parts of the location bar have been moved to HTML namespace. You can possibly check this with the Browser Toolbox.

I was able to find where to delete the bar in the developer tools though I am unable to save the changes I made. Is there some other mode I need to be in in order to save the changes?

You should be able to get the CSS and put it in userChrome.css again.
