Firefox android app icon has red dot
Why does the app icon on my phone show a red dot, I can't find anything within settings to get rid of it. Presumably it's some sort of notification but it's not much use if I can't find out what it's notifying me about!

...and I've just noticed that the red dot has now gone! So maybe something updated itself in the last few hours. Thank you for your response and your time.

If you swipe down from the top of the screen on your Android device, do you have any notifications from Firefox?
If you open the Firefox for Android menu, do you see any dots on any of the items listed (such as "What's New")?

No, there are no notifications to be found, that was my initial thought but there's nothing when I swipe down nor in the Firefox menu.
