Ugh, I have the same problem. Need somewhere to complain—I regret keeping my app up to date if this is the behavior I have to deal with. And, it opens links in a new tab without switching to the new tab, so I have no idea that it’s doing this! Or, it doesn’t tell me that I opened it in a new tab and give me the option to switch to that tab, so I’m just clicking the link over and over thinking that the page is slow, meanwhile I’ve opened over 10 tabs of that same link! FIX IT!!!! Or give me the option to disable it!!!

Can also confirm this happens for me and I would like to turn it off. There is no about:config to see settings as well.
