When trying to organize bookmarks into folders, it seems we have to seperatly edit each one, one at a time. When you select multiple existing bookmarks, the only options appear to be opening them in tabs or deleting them. Nor does it seem possible to move them by drag/drop into folders, or to rearrange the order of the folders. This makes it practically impossible to try and organize your bookmarks.

Also, when you are in the bookmarks area and visit a site from there, you cannot open it in a new tab and leave the bookmark area intact, or go "back" from the site to return to the bookmarks area. You are doomed to perpetually be tossed back to the generic new start area, and have to start all over again trying to reach your bookmarks/folders. You don't even have the option of changing the order in which the bookmarks are shown. They start with oldest and you must scroll and scroll down through the evergrowing list.

How do we organize and keep using our bookmarks, a Firefox system we have been using for years? I asked these same questions over a year ago, and no one bothered to reply. Nor have any of these issues been resolved. Why is Firefox making itself less and less useful, harder and harder to use? Please keep in mind that many people no longer have regular PCs, just tablets, and have no choice but to use Android. Older versions of Android in fact, because their devices are predestined to stop upgrading. Every so often Firefox changes itself, adding new features whose functionallity was already covered by bookmarks (collections, top sites,) and removing it's most useful parts (saving to pdf, bookmark managment and easy access, etc.) How are these decisions even made? I look forward to the day when an update truly results in a better version. Thank you for your time.

Hi

This is not currently a feature of Firefox for Android but may be included in a future update.

If you wish to add this as a feature request, you can do so at:

Downdate removed paste & go: bookmarks menu is still not easily accessible and bookmarks won't open in an existing window, so I still have to manually close the previous (and unwanted) window afterward. Still have to close all windows before deleting history, otherwise it isn't actually deleted. User defined settings still removed; there are virtually no user customization options. Firefox still downgraded!
