<p>You can inspect the Mozilla and Firefox keys with the Windows Registry Editor in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE and in HKEY_CURRENT_USER with the Windows Registry Editor to see whether GPO policy rules are active.
</p>
<ul><li>HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Mozilla\Firefox\
</li><li>HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Policies\Mozilla\Firefox\
</li></ul>
<p>Note that the mere presence of the "Mozilla\Firefox\" key is sufficient to make Firefox display this notification, so if you have the Firefox key then remove it and only leave the Mozilla key or remove this key as well if it is empty.

I noticed this when I opened - Settings - Privacy & Security
then went to

<blockquote>I noticed this when I opened - Settings - Privacy &amp; Security
then went to
Certificates -View Certificates/Certificate Manager -
first three tabs have blank fields, on Servers tab, there are entries, none matching in any way what comes up on the Enterprise Policies tab; on Authorities tab I couldn't find any entry that seemed like what was displayed on the Enterprise Policies tab.
ImportEnterpriseRoots seems to be the "organization" that is controlling my browser
poking around I found the following;
{
"ImportEnterpriseRoots": {
"type": "boolean"
},
"Install": {
"type": "array",
"items": {
"type": "string"
}
}
}
I am running WIN 7 Pro,
with FireFox Version 93.0 (64-bit)
with AVast free edition
what does it mean that my "browser is being managed by your organization"?
what should or can I do?
TIA.
