How to override err_unsafe_port
Trying to connect to wifi that requires a password, but I keep getting err_unsafe_port. I have tried looking on how to fix this problem on firefox for android, but nothing I have tried works. It used to work and haven't had this problem until about month ago. Anybody know how to fix this?

Hi
At what stage are you seeing this error? When you are trying to open the wi-fi providers site to sign in?
Is this at home or an external wi-fi location?
When trying to open the sign in site. This is a business's free wifi for customers.
Hi
Are you able to share the address if the site that you are trying to open?
Is it just this site where this problem occurs?
http://192.168.3.1:10080/ui/dynamic/guest-login.html?mac_addr=2c%3A0e%3A3d%3A18%3A5a%3A30&url=http%3A%2F%2Fconnectivitycheck.gstatic.com%2Fgenerate_204&ip_addr=192.168.3.100
This is it.
Hi
Thank you for that. It looks like that address is designed only for specific users, the IP address in it is specifying a specific port on the device that may be unlocked - for example on company supplied devices.
But other customers are able to get in and I no longer can and I've tried suggestions in other forums and none of itnhas worked.
What is the make, model and Android version of your device?
Samsung S7 Edge
Hi
I have tried that link in my desktop copy of Firefox and am getting the same message - I still believe that the URL is restricted to select group of people.
