Scroll speed when dragging url into bookmarks list

It's very convenient to drag a url from the address bar into a bookmark folder, unless the folder has a lot of entries, then scrolling the list by dragging the new bookmark off bottom or top of the list to look for the intended destination, is too fast & prone to drop off top or bottom.

I guess this is something to do with scroll physics ? but I tried a few hopeful looking possibles in about:config without success - very impressive all that, I had no idea.. but... it would make my work easier if I knew what to adjust.

There are three regions where the cursor has different effects. In the central region - where bookmarks and folders are displaye -, moving the cursor does not cause scrolling. In the top & bottom regions the cursor causes scrolling up and down respectively. I imagine there is a parameter to control the proportionality between the distance from cursor to region-boundary & scroll-speed. Is this how it works ? Can I adjust that, or is there some other way to make this interaction more controllable ?

I'd be grateful for a reply, but even if not, I want to express my gratitude for the great work of this project. It is amazing to see the resilience of open software against the tsunami of commercially driven development - good though some of that is. It almost gives me hope for humanity ;-> Thank you all
