Printing from browser
my browser automatically goes to google cloud print when I print from Firefox. How can I change that so it defaults to my actual printer?

Hi
Printing is currently unavailable in Firefox for Android. What are the steps you are going through to print at present?
Hi, is this problem on Android (your post is under Android) or on Windows 10?
I don't think Firefox for Android has printing on the menu, so perhaps there is a feature in the page to print and that is generating a PDF on the website? Maybe you can spell it out in a little more detail.
I was trying to print a coupon. I was asked if I had a printer and when I sent it to the printer it defaulted to google cloudprinter.com instead of the actual printer. I found a work around but would rather not have to use that if possible. It may not work for anything else except that one site.
And yes, this is on an Android phone - a Samsung S10e to be exact
When I print in general from my phone it goes to my printer of choice.
Hi
Is the Print button in the web page next to the coupon?
Are you able to share a link to the page so that I can recreate what you are doing here?
I did not see a printer icon on the web page on my phone browser and I will see if I can add a link to that page later today as it is 2:35 am right now
I am unable to copy the url from my phone to post it as a link here. For whatever reason both Firefox and Chrome default to Google cloudprint.com when I try to print from the browser on my Android phone.
I checked and my printer is set as the default printer for my phone.
Are you selecting Print on a web page or in a menu of Firefox for Android?
I am choosing the print option on the web page - I have no other option option in the web browser for this site.
I can only suggest that you might download the coupons.com app to see if you can replicate the problem. That is if you have an Android phone.
Hi
If in the Android Settings app you search for Printing services, do you see your printer listed?
Yes it is there. I finally downloaded the Edge browser and that did direct me to the printer but all I got was a blank page. This is getting to be very frustrating and has me running around biting myself in the back.
Can you set your printer as the default in the Android printer settings?
I tried that and it didn't work - when I chose the default printer option and had is look for a printer it just sat there and churned. What I really want to know is why it defaulted to the Google cloud print option in the first place since that was disco'd last year.
