Excel Documents from SharePoint freezing in Browser

Every excel document I open via Sharepoint on my firefox browser, crashes/freezes, making me unable to work in and I have to force close that tab, as even reloading does not fix the issue. This happens so fast, that when opening an excel via link, I don't even have time to choose the option 'Open in App'. I have already 'cleaned' my firefox, but the issue has not disappeared.

hello gabriel,

while people do love FireFox for many reasons, it is my firm opinion for people that use microsoft products that have internet connectivity, to also use the microsoft browser.

i believe the current ms browser is called/known as Edge.
