Articles automatically open twice from New York Times website. Just stated 1-2 weeks ago. How do I stop it from doing this and open articles once, the way it used to?

It seems that this problem can be fixed by either going to System Settings → Applications → Firefox Browser and then hitting force stop. Then open the app again and see if that has fixed the issue, if not try uninstalling and reinstalling the app.

Thanks for this suggestion. Doing a forced stop appears to have fixed the problem, at least for several hours, so far.
