Thunderbird downloads what's in email queue multiple times, instead of download once per "get messages" click. The result: tons of spam gets through -- even when cleaned up in Mailwasher -- because spam (and political messages) seems to come in waves. How about ONE download action per download request? (all accounts, but ONCE, without multiple follow-ups). These multiple, follow-up download actions aren't doing anybody any favors.
