Where are the Thunderbird screen layout options? Not under "options" in the menu!

Where the screen layout options? They do not appear under the menu 'options' as suggested in the tutorial video. What am I missing? I do not want preview display of an active message on the screen.

Thanks! I also found that the F8 key toggles the active mail preview as well.
