Hello, I have a Mozilla/Firefox account and I have firefox both on my desktop and on my phone (Android). However, everytime I open my desktop Firefox or go to a Mozilla page, I am advertised and asked to connect my android device, to have firefox on more than one device, and/or sign up for a mozilla account. So I am unclear on whether something is wrong with my accounts or this is just normal.

Thank you for reaching out.

If you do have a Firefox account thatt keep your history, bookmarks, etc, please do make sure you are using the same account you use to log in the web browser and also in your mobile phone, if you have done so, please log out of all your devices where youa re using Firefox web browser and log in again. Hi Andres, Thank you for your response. I am indeed using the same account on both devices. In fact, all of my passwords and bookmarks are automatically and correctly synchronized. There are no issues with sync, per se. But despite everything apparently being fine, it sometimes seems like Firefox does not recognize that it is connected across multiple devices when I am on Mozilla websites, for example. Perhaps it has to do with having to sign on the website despite being signed-in on the browser, but I am not exactly sure that would explain all of it.

I'll try your suggestion later today and report back.

If you still facing difficulty try clearing your saved account password that have synchronized. Moreover, you can also check for update or reinstall the Firefox web browser.
