Hello, I've already followed all the instructions in [[https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1295592|this community support post]] with no success. This was happening when I was still using Firefox Nightly Preview ('''Nightly 200706 06:01 (Build #2015750387'''), through Firefox Nightly ('''Nightly 200926 06:03 (Build #2015766131''') and it has continued after deleting app data and switching to Firefox for Android ('''81.1.1 (Build #2015764547''') recently updated. Whether I'm browsing in Firefox, or have closed the browser and I am using a different app on my phone (Samsung Galaxy S8), at random times the screen will freeze for a moment before a new browser tab or window tries to open. I've installed the uBlock add-on and under the Filters List I've checked every box in every category so the unauthorized sites can't fully load, but the tab still opens and at times even turns my display on if I was sleeping. Currently I've set my phone to not have a default browser so every time the malware tries to load a new tab I get a request for which app I want to open the request with. I would really like to find the cause of this problem as it eats up a lot of battery power having the phone constantly turning itself on even if it is not in use.
