How to have tabs open in the top row in a certain page (not websites)

Will try to explain. Not talking about the website tabs as favorites in the top row - but about module tabs to show up in the top row in a program. When I open a program (work related) - there are modules in the program such as "Participants," "Financial," "Vendors," and so on. When I click on a module, it opens up in a new browser. Problem is, when it's in a new browser, it doesn't identify participant/case I'm working on. I want the "Participants" module tab to appear in the same page in the top row so I can see which case it is - and be able to switch tabs on the same page (like you would with different websites on Firefox homepage). I tried to paste a snapshot of it here but didn't allow me to. In Chrome - I can click on a module/link, then on the top header right click my mouse to select the option to "Show as Tab" - then the tab will appear on the same page and I can easily identify which participant/case I'm working on. I prefer to use Firefox - however it doesn't offer that option to show as tab. I was using Internet Explorer, IE - but the program is no longer supported by IE. Is there a way in Firefox? Thank you.
