Hi, I noticed that the new release of the Android Firefox browser doesn't support printing (and therefore save to pdf) anymore. Is it a known issue or is there anything that I am missing?

Hi

This is currently not a feature of Firefox for Android, but may be included in a future update.

Hi

This is currently not a feature of Firefox for Android, but may be included in a future update.

I recall it being a feature as I used it a lot to convert web pages to .pdf. Disappointed that it was removed. This forces me to share the page with my Samsung browser where the very useful "Print to .PDF" feature still exists.

Same, I feel this version of the android browser was released too early. Moreover, I had a problem with downloading a document from a website right today, I switched to Chrome and I managed to download it. Hopefully this will be just a temporary solution.

I don't like this version much. Also disables my Halo keyboard on my Lenovo tablet and lost my mobile bookmarks. Will try another browser

I have been using the print to PDF feature for years and finding that it has been removed is going to force me to move to another browser that has this feature as it is part of my daily routine and required by my job. When you can produce an update without removing commonly used features I may come back; however, since I am going to have to move all of my bookmarks to another platform it's doubtful that I will bother going through the trouble.

Inexcusable.

Inexcusable. .PDFs are not some cosmetic style, they are a core feature of any browser. Why on earth Mozilla released this version without .PDF rendering is inexcusable imho and only drives people to bail on Firefox and pickup Chrome instead. Very disappointed.

I'm disappointed Firefox.

Printing and Converting to PDF "... is currently not a feature of Firefox for Android, but may be included in a future update." Has got to be one of the lamest responses I have ever read for a browser problem. Whoever thought to and agreed to remove this feature from FireFox is ignorant of browser use. You have no idea of how many uses this feature has and how it is ties to other services ... like being able to print Amazon return labels that are Emailed. Yet, another example of the failure of developers of today, to 'STOP fixing what is NOT broken'. I am tired of the changes that ruined the FF password manager (and the stupid Woke terminology changes), and the increasing incompatibility of FF with web pages and document loading. After decades of using FF, the "Mozilla idiots" have finally lost another, loyal FF user. I will be switching to another browser.

Ok, I gotta get my nickels worth in about 80.0.1 1. YES, Why the heck did you remove "Print to PDF"? I deal with a LOT of resources that do not print properly due to their formatting. "Print to PDF" is CRITICAL TO ME, so WHY did you remove such a valuable feature? "It's not currently supported but may be added in the future", REALLY, REALLY??? There's no blessed add-on, so would you please PUT IT BACK IN!

2. What's with the FireFox front-end? WHY did you remove the ability to set our default Homepage? I've been using Duckduckgo for as long as it's been in existence, But soooooooo, You don't want us to do that? Is Mozilla now telling us what we can and can't do?

3. I have yet to find an answer to "What happened to What happened to "about:config" in FireFox 80.0.1 for Android? Error message "Cannot complete Request, Try Again".

Thank you for all your work on FireFox But PLEASE take our concerns a tad more seriously.

I'm a Paraplegic Veteran that uses FireFox exclusively, Win/Linux/Android, and almost every platform you support (and then some more). I could've posted the 13+ issues I have with this version but the above are my Immediate needs. B.D.

And I miss the old option to choose only to view or to download a pdf file. Now I can only download it. That is NOT what I want.

You cannot just remove such a core functionality! Firefox really sucks! Very disappointing

When will printing, period, be available?! There's no option to print at all, let alone print to pdf!

Only solution is to go back to old version that includes SAVE AS PDF:

Uninstall latest Firefox version. Find Firefox version 69 at uptodown.com Install it. bold text

I'm also mystified why Firefox for Android no longer has the ability to print a web page or save it as a pdf - two features that I used regularly. It's a big loss. Back to Chrome I guess.

Without the ability to save the page as pdf firefox is useless for me.

I've used Firefox for decades in preference to all other browsers and Mobile Firefox is now officially unusable while Mozilla acts like Microslop. Even Microslop should remember 800lb gorillas loose weight when not fed. Mozilla depends on it's users and the latest versions are incomplete, buggy, confusing for long time users and generally bad. This looks like some manager who doesn't use the product made a bad decision based purely on kickbacks.

DO NOT REMOVE COMMONLY USED FEATURES!!!!

Go back to a version that works and has all the features we use daily. If you want to make changes, add new ways to perform actions and use performance reports to see which users prefer.

I've used "save as pdf" for a long time and emailed it to myself for saving. An essential function that is a deal breaker for me. Especially as the pdf always turned out good, with layouts intact etc.

What kind of browser doesn't let you save or print anything?!

Why would you take a great browser and remove the most commonly used features? Is there a logical reason that I'm missing? I really don't want to switch to chrome but I need the ability to print/save as pdf back IMMEDIATELY.

I do EVERYTHING on Android devices except flash firmware to other Android devices. I almost never touch my Windows PC anymore. I shouldn't have to fire up the old desktop to print something!
