Hi I am recently migrated from chrome to firefox, and one thing I noticed and also very annoying (I don't know if it's a security feature) the accesses to websites are not stored. Example: if I log in to facebook, when I restart the browser it asks me for the password. Is there any setting or extension that can ensure that access to a site remains even if I close the browser?

Do all of your browser settings reset when you restart Firefox?

My guess is that you have made the mistake that a lot of Firefox users make when installing Firefox on a Mac. If you run it right from the firefox.dmg file that you download, it doesn't work properly. You need to move the firefox.app file within that file into the Applications folder on your computer.

See How to download and install Firefox on Mac for more information.

Hope this helps.

Hi Wensley, thanks for reply :)

When restart Firefox, the browser asks me for the login credentials for each site that I had previously entered. Ex. Every time I have to use the QRC to use web whatsapp.

I've already moved Firefox.app in Applications folder and I tried to reset firefox settings, but nothing.

After telling me this, I went to see the settings and by default it was set that the cookies at every restart of firefox had to be deleted. Thx :D
