Hello,

I have the latest version of Firefox(?) on my 2014 Macbook Air. I'm using El Capitan 10.11.6 - I'm afraid to upgrade to the latest version. When ever I open Firefox, the following extension pops up in the search window: http://search.anysearchmanager.com/?_pg=32305279-EF96-58E8-AD0D-5C619AE6B900&affid=A112H_set_bfr_H&type=h. I have tried several trouble shooting techniques, but I can't find it listed in my files or extensions, so that I can delete it. Also, I have Webroot, but when I do a scan, it doesn't show up. Thank you in advance for any assistance or information you can provide.

Regards, Marie Hatosky

Just to make sure I'm on the same page, what do you see listed on the FF Preferences Home section for the Homeage and new windows and New tabs? Mine are a link to The Washington Post for the Homescreen and Firefox Home (default) for new tabs.

Have you checked the preference (Firefox->Preferences) to see what's listed under Homepage and new windows as your startup screen?

Yes, I have. The only one listed is the one for the Honey app, which I chose to install.

As soon as the Firefox page opens, there is a tab for "Any search". Any Search is apparently hidden. I have tried other means of trying to remove it, but in my files, it must be listed as something else.

This is what shows up in the search window when I open Firefox:
