Yes, I used my favorite search engine for this a thousand times...

"places.history.enabled" doesn't seem to do it, I gave "browser.history.maxStateObjectSize" = 1 a try to no avail, "browser.urlbar.autocomplete.enabled" doesn't do what the name promises...

So, how do I avoid the history of visited URLs to be stored when using Firefox on Android? (I'm aware that deleting on exit might do the trick, but who explicitly exits their browser on mobile?!?) Has this feature been intentionally removed, as I see old screenshots with an explicit option?

Hi.

I recommend that you try the Firefox Focus browser or the new Firefox for Android Beta app.

Both are available from the Google Play store and allow you to have a browsing session where the history is not retained.
