i was using it just fine before to access MOV files on the website that i wish to access on, but now it just suddenly starts asking me to download!!! I tried reinstalling and the same thing happend. I cheecked the in about:config for media.play stand alone is true and it still did not work. i tried turning it to false and true again did not work. i tried disabling hardware accelleration and it still did not work please help. i must access these files as they are large and plentiful and downloadin ghtem is extremely inefficient

Clear all cookies, site data and cache

  • Click the ≡ menu button. and select Options.
  • Select the Privacy & Security panel and go to the Cookies and Site Data section.
  • Click the Clear Data… button. The Clear Data dialog will appear. ...

To start Firefox in Safe Mode:

  • Click the ≡ menu button .
  • Click Help and select Restart with Add-ons Disabled
  • Firefox will start up with the Firefox Safe Mode dialog. ...
  • When the Firefox Safe Mode window appears, click the Start in Safe Mode button.
