I did search the site, but I didn't see a setting that can get rid of the suggestions in the address bar. The library and history clearing methods did nothing. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Fixed up, the top sites in the address bar. Privacy and Security > Address bar> uncheck Top Sites.
