Hello,

When I go to Logins and Passwords, there is a full list of 135 website logins and passwords, and no option to delete them all at once. I use a password keeper and do not want any saved into my browsers.

When I go to Add-ons > Extensions, Firefox Lockwise is not listed there for me to delete it. I have changed my Firefox login password and they have not been deleted. I do not have a master password that I'm aware of. If I go to Settings > Privacy and Security, the "Use Master Password" box is not checked.

So, I don't think I even have Lockwise yet my info is being stored. Obviously I'm missing something because there's no way the developers wouldn't enable users to "delete all" of their passwords if they decide to use a different storage system, right?

How do I delete all?

You can delete logins.json and key4.db in the profile folder if you really want to remove all the logins.

You can use the button on the "Help -> Troubleshooting Information" (about:support) page to go to the current Firefox profile folder or use the about:profiles page.

Lockwise is the built in password manager for FF, not an extension of it. If you want to delete all the passwords saved, you can disconnect the sync and it should delete the passwords. If you don't want FF to save passwords you can adjust the setting named "Ask to save logins and passwords for websites" by unchecking it under settings-> Privacy and Security.

Chosen solution is unhelpful. I want to search and delete passwords easily, not clear the entire database. Though it does appear that the JSON file is user-editable, doing so requires a software developer's knowledge. I'm afraid to try even that since a change in the file might look suspicious to Lockwise, causing it to purge the entire database.

I expect Lockwise manager interface to let me select and delete multiple passwords easily, without having to delete (remove) them one by one. To me this seems like an oversight of a basic requirement of any list-based user interface, where the user should be able to select multiple items in the list, either in sequential order using Shift key or in random order using Ctrl key (or a combination of both), and then act on all of them using a single action command.

File managers do this. Email clients do this. Even Firefox's own Library interface does this. Why isn't Lockwise doing this? I am shocked that this is somehow completely missed out in the new Lockwise interface despite going through many updates. I remember that I could do this easily in the old interface (before Lockwise was introduced). I'm appalled that we even have to ask for this now!

PS: There should also be an option to Select All and Deselect All.

PS2: Bug 1579739 describes the problem.
