Menus are too tall, going under my Windows taskbar. How to shorten?
Clicking the sandwich button brings up the primary menu, and its height seems to be determined by the size of my screen, and makes itself as tall as possible. Unfortunately, whatever it does to calculate this fails to take the height of my taskbar into account, probably because I have it two rows high. This causes the last items to be hidden. How can I fix this, other than constantly resizing the Windows taskbar?

A scrollbar should appear when that Menu drops below the lower edge of the browser window. Don't you get that scrollbar?
Beyond that, I imagine the spacing of the individual menu items should be able to be decreased using the applicable userChrome.css code.

A lot to look thru / peruse, but it's the best repository I have encountered.
And I use a lot of userChrome.css code - but that "Open menu" button menu isn't something I have done anything with. It took me 4 years to "perfect" the Australis UI "Open menu" button menu drop-down, only to have it get completely broken with Fx57 Quantum; nit going to go thru that again, especially with Quantum being a "continual process" of minor changes with the UI being re-written in stages every version or or, three. And now with a 4 week update scheme, I ain't gonna be fixing 'crap' that often.
Indeed, there is a scrollbar, but as the attached picture shows that doesn't solve the issue, because the taskbar overlaps the bottom regardless. If it were possible to scroll "past" the bottom of the menu, as if there were empty space under it, then it would be fine, and the menu's bottom would be able to come into view.

Per that screenshot, do you have a double row Windows Task Bar?
It looks like there is a lower row that was cut in half in that screenshot. Perhaps that has thrown off Firefox which might be expecting a single row height Task Bar.
I run Win7 and I am not familiar with Win10, and its option for the Task Bar.
Yes, my taskbar is set to two rows tall, and I imagine that's the source of the problem. I'd consider this a bug to be addressed; perhaps the menu shouldn't try being taller than its window or something.
