Firefox dark theme does not work as intended

Hello,

I try to change the theme of FF to a dark mode but it will not work for some reasons. I changed it in the settings already and even changed it in the Windows settings (changed it to dark mode under "Choose your app mode") but the background of about:preferences is still not dark (I know it is working without any kind of add-ons because on the VM it works flawlessly).

I really hope someone can me help me out. Thanks in advance.

Oh and btw: I am using Windows 10 and the newest version of FF.
