I would recommend to set up how you would like the app to show your home page.

Do this if not already:

1. Open the Firefox app on your Android smartphone
2. Touch the settings icon (three dots icon in the upper right corner of the screen)
3. Touch settings
4. Touch General
5. Touch Home
6. Touch set a homepage (set your homepage or choose the Mozilla default)

Then you can see your homepage by opening a new tab by clicking the square icon next to the settings icon and then touching the plus icon in the upper right. This new tab should display your homepage.
