Hi, My main wprk laptop just died. Am using backup laptop (= Win7-64bit) for now, which is missing the password for a website I use for my work. All FF help articles say click "Show Passwords" when I am in Lock wise. All user ID names display, BUT NOT the passwords OR the "Show Passwords" command How do I see the password I need ? Thanks for your help! Happy holidays! Stephen

You posted here from what appears to be Firefox 52 (on Windows 7-64 bit laptop, built 2012), which is an old Firefox version from before Lockwise became part of Firefox 70.

For for the Lockwise UI (user interface) in Firefox 70+ versions: Click the "eye" to the right of the Password field in about:logins .

Actually the user agent shows Firefox 52 on Windows XP (NT 5.1) .

  • Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:52.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/52.0

Check that you do not run Firefox in compatibility mode. You can open the Properties of the Firefox desktop shortcut via the right-click context menu and check the "Compatibility" tab. Make sure that all items are deselected in the "Compatibility" tab of the Properties window.

Another possibility is using Resist Fingerprinting.
