I occasionally get emails which Thunderbird marks as "scams". How do I teach it to ignore emails from specific senders as Ok?

These is only an "ignore this email" which is ok for one-offs. There is also a close "X" in the top right hand corner of the notice which if clicked kills the notice - does this make the senders Ok permanently?
