Address book import problems
Having imported a .csv file with just three fields (first name, second name and email address), only the email addresses show in T/B's address book. If I double click on any addess, then a window opens showing all three fields (so they HAVE been imported). Surely there must be a way to see the three fields as a list as on most other email clients? Also I am unable to get T/B to autocomplete/suggest addesses I start typing. All are highlighted in red. Mozilla offers advice on changing "Display" settings, but the 'display' option is not present on my newly installed version. Any help would be appreciated.

When you open a contact in Address Book, are the First and Last fields filled, but not Display Name? Check that View/Show Name As is not Display Name. Press Alt if the Menu Bar with the View menu is hidden.
If the First and Last are filled in, and autocomplete isn't working, make sure there are no leading spaces in First or Last that can happen when a list is imported.

Thanks: The first field only is filled. The other fields I did NOT select when importing, such as 'Organisation'. You say try View/Show name etc, but there is no 'Show name' option under 'View' (in either Address book or email programme.
I keep reading such advice, but why don't I see the same options as everyone else? i.e where is the 'Show name' option?
Getting really fed up with what should be such a simple thing.
Any ideas?
Sorry, I should add that when I open a contact in Address book, the first and last names and display name are all filled correctly. Please excuse my ignorance in misunderstanding.
In the attached picture you can see the Show Name As menu item. If you don't have it, I can't say why. See if it looks differently if you run TB in safe mode (hold Shift when you launch TB).
By any chance, do your contact entries contain special, non-standard characters?
