You probably have a Windows Virus that has changed your proxy settings - or something NOT related to TB is interfering with it - in another way. Millions of people are using the latest version of TB and are happy with it - including me - and 45% of these connectivity issues turn out to not be TB problems after all but problems with the system itself. Meaning that if you switch to a different Email Client ... you are still going to have the same problems. But please do not come here complaining that Outlook doesn't work right for you ... you will get no sympathy ... or answers.
