I have a number of defunct url's bookmarked. The url is often forwarded to a "new" url so I do not get an option to "Remove."

Hi parrishh, I think you'll have to do it the hard way by using either:

  • the Bookmarks Sidebar -- Command+b
  • Library window ("Show All Bookmarks") Command+Shift+b

In the sidebar, there is a search box above the list; in the Library window, it is in the upper right corner. So you can drill down to the broken/obsolete bookmark and either:

  • Delete: right-click > Delete
  • Edit the URL: right-click > Properties

Does that work for you?

Note: if needed, the Library window has an Undo option on the Organize menu (first menu on the Library window toolbar, in case you have icons only and not words).
