When I installed the latest version of Firefox ( 67.0 ), my profile disappeared. I tried backing up my default profile from the day before, and then restoring it. But this didn't work. Here is what I did: - backed up my profile: - found my default profile "C:\Users\Professor\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\5kti5szo.default" - closed Firefox - right-clicked the default profile folder, & clicked Copy - right-clicked my desktop & selected Paste - restarted Firefox - restored my profile backup: - closed Firefox - replaced the existing profile folder with the backup previously saved on my desktop - replaced all the old files - started Firefox What did I do wrong???
