Firefox beta 66.0b7 gmail no auto logout
I was a long time Firefox user who years ago switch to Google Chrome. I use Gmail and Youtube on Windows10 Pro here. I rely on getting notifications via the browser when certain Youtube streams go live.
Recently I figured I would give Firefox another go. I tried Firefox 65.0.1 however whatever settings I changed in the browser I could not get the notification window in the lower right corner to pop up when I a stream went live. I downloaded and installed Firefox beta and that fixed the problem.
However another more pressing issue is my current battle. I use multiple Gmail accounts and always have relied on the browser to log me out of my Gmail sessions. Well in Firefox it does not. I have tried using browser.sessionstore.privacy_level = 2 in about:config as well as telling Firefox to remove Active Logins in History. Neither made a difference. When I closed Firefox and started it back up and when to Gmail I was automatically logged in.
I then tried telling Firefox to delete mail.google,com cookies aka current session only. Well that worked but too well. I use 2FAuthentiction on my accounts and telling Firefox to delete either mail.google.com cookies on browser close also removed my 2FA cookie requiring me to re-enter the rolling code on ever login.
Is there no way in Firefox to simply log me out other than remembering to use the Gmail logout option BEFORE I close the browser?

A good word of Advice never use beta release as primary Browser unless your testing. You should only use the latest Public release for everyday Browsing.
The only reason I am using the beta version of Firefox is because the release version of Firefox refused to show pop up notifications for YouTube streams when they went live. The beta does not have that issue.
I was able to fix the issue at hand by blocking Scripts for Accounts.google.com via uMatrix extension (Noscript et al would do the same thing) clearing all cookies for google.com and then logging back in. Blocking that script forces Gmail not to use Javascript and it resorts to the old form of their login screen which saves no login information as well it logs you out on browser close down.
This however prevents logging into further google accounts as I get you must enable Javascript to login.
Reverting back to the released version of Firefox also does nothing to fix this issue. The released version of Firefox 65.0.1 behaves exactly the same way.
I have found that if I enable Javascript i.e. not block it then of course I can login but I am not automatically logged out of all my Gmail accounts when I close the browser. Also since I last used Firefox several years ago I discovered that Firefox no longer display all the types of cookies associated with a particular domain. Before one could see cookies for say Google.com one of which is the HSID cookie and deleting that cookie forces one to be logged out of all Google sites.
Ideally what I want to do on closing Firefox is to have the browser automatically delete ONLY the HSID cookie associated with Google.com rather than deleting all of the 12 cookies associated with Google.com. Doing the latter also destroys the 2FA cookie which Chrome cookie deletion process seems to be able to leave alone.

That isn't true I use YT on Chrome and Firefox public release and have no problems with the site logged in or not. So what YT stream are you referring to? Your going to have to provide links for others to verify the issue then?

I am not talking about YouTube. I am talking specifically about Gmail or any Google service which requires one to login to gain access to your data. I want Firefox to auto log me out of those accounts when I close Firefox down.
The only way I can currently do that in Firefox is to have it delete ALL 12 cookies associated with Google.com since that process deletes the HSID cookies which are associated with the account login cookie. However that deletion process also deletes the 2FA cookie associated with all these accounts which means that I have to always supply my 2Factor code upon each login.
