I did a web search. Nothing found on that as a virus, or anything else. How do you know its name?
You may have ad/mal-ware. Further information can be found in this article; https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-firefox-issues-caused-malware?cache=no
Run most or all of the listed malware scanners. Each works differently. If one program misses something, another may pick it up.

If not : could you provide a link to the site that you're referring to ?
And could you be a bit more specific as to how this is "screwing everything up" ?

You're not talking about "Generation Vine" by any chance, are you ? Cause that is malware see these search results - in which case you'd really need to do as suggested by FredMcD.
