Run most or all of the listed malware scanners. Each works differently. If one program misses something, another may pick it up.

I have uninstalled firefox from my apple computer. I will wait till morning to install. I have spent all day and into the evening trying to reinstall firefox and get it to operate with no success. If i can not reinstall without the slow or no web connection as well as not able to delete history then I will not use firefox as it does not work!

Thanks from a non-IT expert. Most of the info I was trying to find today I did not understand how to correct the problem. Sorry for all of those out there that are more tech savvy
