Registered on Android tablet. Again on Windows desktop. Repeatedly told to register on another device ( a non-smart mobile). Nothing else happens

I downloaded Firefox on an Android tablet, and tried to Sync it to my Windows desktop. Verified OK on the desktop. Now on both Android and Windows devices, I am repeatedly to 'Sign in on another device.' The only option shown is for a mobile phone, but my mobile is not smart, it is just a phone.

Oh, and I want to use Firefox browser because I prefer to avoid the ubiquitous Google
