load a bookmaks file into FFAndroid
I know that I can't import, other than using sync, which I will not do. I have copied bookmarks.html but it appears that ff does not open HTML files????
I want to load that file, from local storage and keep it on tab 1 so I can use it.

Navigating to file:///sdcard should open up your phone's storage
I agree that it should however it seems that FF for Android seems to be automatically blocking from opening a local HTML file. Chrome can but FF seems to be excluded.
BTW the Chrome file path is "content://com.metago..astro.filecontent/file/storage/emulated/0/bookmarks.html"
Astro is the file manager I am using. I copied the path and it would drop into Chrome and work but not FF.
Thoughts?
BTW I did get the file path I needed in FF but FF says "Access to the file was denied". It says it's not readable. Chrome does read it just file though.

loading file:///storage/emulated/0/Download/test.html works for me on Firefox
I guess files on the root of the storage drive are handled differently. I put it in the download folder and it works fine!
Oh the complexities of trying to outsmart the system!
Thanks
