Hi,

I've come across many users reporting the same problem on that site, and in most cases this did the trick :

Clear the cache and cookies only from websites that cause problems.

Clear the Cache:

3-bar menu => Options => General => Network => Cached Web Content :
"Clear Now"

Remove Cookies from sites causing problems:

3-bar menu => Options => Privacy & Security => under 'History' : choose 'Use custom settings for history' => "Show Cookies"

Does that work  ?

No Network=> Cached Web Content Other doesn't work either.

My mistake  !!!

It's not 'Network', but 'Privacy & Security' => Cached Web Content

My apologies  !!!

Bummer  !

It seems to be a problem with Ancestry - maybe you could post here as well (after you've read what others have posted so far) :

I have tried what the others have done. No soap! If I use Google Chrome, the page comes up. Obviously it is a Firefox problem. Only started when updated to Firefox 58. Guess i"ll have to use Chrome to view my DNA page until somebody fixes it. Ciao!

If you use extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) that can block (wanted) content (Adblock Plus, NoScript, Ghostery, Privacy Badger, uBlock Origin) always make sure such extensions do not block (wanted) content.

  • make sure your extensions and filters are updated to the latest version

There is Tracking Protection that can block (wanted) content, so check the location/address bar for special icons.

If you use Adblock Plus then you can consider uBlock Origin as a replacement to see if that works better (lower memory footprint).

Ancestry DNA page is back. DNA results in, don't know if that had anything to do with it. Thanks, for those who posted remedies. Problem solved. [For now!]
